Gold Dagger (Best Crime Novel of the Year)
Jane Harper – The Dry
Amid the worst drought to ravage Australia in a century, it hasn't rained in small country town Kiewarra for two years, tensions in the community become unbearable when three members of the Hadler family are brutally murdered. Everyone thinks Luke Hadler, who committed suicide after slaughtering his wife and six-year-old son, is guilty. Policeman Aaron Falk returns to the town of his youth for the funeral of his childhood best friend, and is unwillingly drawn into the investigation. As questions mount and suspicion spreads through the town, Falk is forced to confront the community that rejected him 20 years earlier.

Ian Fleming Steel Dagger (Best Thriller)
Mick Herron – Spook Street
20 years retired, David Cartwright can still spot when the stoats are on his trail. Radioactive secrets and unfinished business go with the territory on Spook Street: he's always known there would be an accounting. And he's not as defenceless as they might think. Jackson Lamb worked with Cartwright back in the day. He knows better than most that this is no vulnerable old man.

John Creasy New Blood Dagger (Best Crime Novel by a Debut Author)
Chris Whitaker – Tall Oaks
When three-year-old Harry Monroe goes missing, Tall Oaks is the sort of community you'd expect to rally round and find him before the day is out. Someone must know something. But months later his desperate mother Jess is an increasingly isolated figure, still printing off posters of her son and putting them on display around the town with the police investigation apparently at a standstill. And it's becoming quite clear that however well they all think they know each other, there are secrets tucked away that no one wants to see the light of day.

Endeavour Historical Dagger     (Best Historical Crime Novel)
Abir Mukherjee – A Rising Man
India, 1919. Captain Sam Wyndham, former Scotland Yard detective, is a new arrival to Calcutta. Desperately seeking a fresh start after his experiences during the Great War, Wyndham has been recruited to head up a new post in the police force. But with barely a moment to acclimatise to his new life or to deal with the ghosts which still haunt him, Wyndham is caught up in a murder investigation that will take him into the dark underbelly of the British Raj. A senior official has been murdered, and a note left in his mouth warns the British to quit India - or else.

Dagr Aur (Nofel Drosedd Orau’r Flwyddyn)
Jane Harper – The Dry
Yng nghanol y sychdwr gwaethaf i effeithio Awstralia mewn canrif, nid yw wedi glawio yn nhref fechan wledig Kiewarra am ddwy flynedd. Mae’r tensiwn yn y gymuned yn mynd yn annioddefol pan fydd tri aelod o’r teulu Hadler yn cael eu lladd. Mae pawb yn meddwl bod Luke Hadler, a laddodd ei hun ar ôl llofruddio ei wraig a’i fab chwech oed, yn euog. Mae’r plismon Aaron Falk yn dychwelyd i dref ei ieuenctid ar gyfer angladd ei ffrind gorau, ac yn cael ei dynnu i mewn i’r ymchwiliad, yn erbyn ei ewyllys. Wrth i’r cwestiynau a’r amheuon lifo drwy’r dref, mae Falk yn cael ei orfodi i wynebu’r gymuned a’i wrthododd ugain mlynedd ynghynt.

Dagr Ddur Ian Fleming (Nofel Gyffro Orau)
Mick Herron – Spook Street
Wedi ymddeol am 20 mlynedd, mae David Cartwright yn dal i fedru gweld pan fydd y carlymod ar ei ôl. Mae cyfrinachau ymbelydrol a phethau anorffenedig yn rhan annatod o Spook Street: mae wastad wedi gwybod y bydd yn rhaid wynebu pethau. Ac nid yw mor ddi-amddiffyn ag y maent yn ei feddwl. Gweithiodd Jackson Lamb gyda Cartwright yn y gorffennol. Mae ef yn gwybod yn well na llawer nad hen ddyn diymadferth yw hwn.

Dagr Gwaed Newydd John Creasy (Nofel Drosedd Orau gan Awdur Newydd)
Chris Whitaker – Tall Oaks
Pan fydd Harry Monroe, sy'n dair oed, yn mynd ar goll, byddech yn disgwyl i gymuned fel Tall Oaks fod yn gefn a cheisio dod o hyd iddo cyn diwedd dydd. Rhaid bod rhywun yn gwybod rhywbeth. Ond fisoedd yn ddiweddarach, mae Jess, ei fam druan, yn ffigwr fwyfwy anghysbell, sydd wrthi’n argraffu posteri o'i mab a'u harddangos o gwmpas y dref tra bod ymchwiliad yr heddlu yn sefyll yn ei unfan. Mae'n dod yn eithaf clir, fodd bynnag, waeth pa mor dda y maen nhw'n meddwl eu bod yn adnabod ei gilydd, mae 'na gyfrinachau nad oes neb eisiau eu datgelu.

Dagr Hanesyddol Endeavour (Nofel Drosedd Hanesyddol Orau)
Abir Mukherjee – A Rising Man
India, 1919. Mae’r Capten Sam Wyndham, cyn-dditectif gyda Scotland Yard, yn cyrraedd Calcutta. Eisiau cychwyn newydd ar ôl ei brofiadau yn y Rhyfel Mawr, mae Wyndham wedi ei recriwtio i swydd newydd yn yr heddlu. Ond heb amser i ddod i arfer â’i fywyd newydd neu i ddelio â’r ysbrydion sy’n dal i aflonyddu arno, mae Wyndham yng nghanol ymchwiliad i lofruddiad a fydd yn mynd ag o i grombil tywyll yr Oruchwyliaeth Brydeinig. Mae uwch swyddog wedi ei lofruddio, ac mae nodyn yn ei geg yn rhybuddio Prydain i adael India - neu...
