Henning Mankell – After the Fire
Fredrik Welin is a 70-year-old retired doctor. Years ago he retreated to the Swedish archipelago, where he lives alone on an island. He swims in the sea every day, cutting a hole
in the ice if necessary. He lives a quiet life until he wakes up one night to find his house on fire. Fredrik escapes just in time, wearing two left-footed wellies, as neighbouring islanders arrive to help douse the flames. All that remains in the morning is a stinking ruin and evidence of arson. The house that has been in his family for generations and all his worldly belongings are gone. He cannot think who would do such a thing, or why. Without a suspect, the police begin to think he started the fire himself.

Hakan Nesser - The Darkest Day
It's December in the quiet Swedish town of Kymlinge, and the Hermansson family are gathering to celebrate father Karl-Erik and eldest daughter Ebba's joint landmark birthdays. But beneath the guise of happy festivities, tensions are running high, and it's not long before the night takes a dark and unexpected turn.

Karolina Ramqvist – The White City
A slow-burning, sophisticated, psychological thriller.

Anntti Tuomainen – The Man Who Died
A successful entrepreneur in the mushroom industry, Jaakko Kaunismaa is a man in his prime. At just 37 years of age, he is shocked when his doctor tells him that he's dying. What is more, the cause is discovered to be prolonged exposure to toxins; in other words, someone has slowly but surely been poisoning him. Determined to find out who wants him dead, Jaakko embarks on a suspenseful rollercoaster journey full of unusual characters, bizarre situations and unexpected twists.

Buddugol

Malin Persson Gioliton – Quicksand

Efallai bod dwy ochr i Maja Norberg sy’n symud yn fud fel traeth byw. Y cwestiwn: pa un ydych chi’n ei gredu?

Agnete Friis – What My Body Remembers
Stori  gyffro lle mae mam ifanc yn gorfod wynebu ei gorffennol er mwyn achub dyfodol ei mab.

Henning Mankell – After the Fire
Mae Fredrik Welin yn feddyg 70 oed wedi ymddeol. Flynyddoedd yn ôl, aeth i fyw ar yr archipelago Swedaidd, lle mae’n byw ar ei ben ei hun ar ynys. Mae’n nofio yn y môr bob dydd,
gan dorri twll yn y rhew os oes angen. Mae’n byw bywyd tawel nes iddo ddeffro un noson gyda’i dŷ ar dân. Mae Fredrik yn dianc mewn pryd, wrth i gymdogion gyrraedd i helpu diffodd y fflamau. Yr unig beth sydd ar ôl yn y bore yw adfail drewllyd a thystiolaeth bod y tân wedi ei gynnau’n fwriadol. Mae’r cartref sydd wedi bod yn ei deulu am genedlaethau a phopeth a oedd ganddo yn y byd wedi mynd yn llwyr. Ni fedr feddwl pwy a fyddai’n gwneud y fath beth, na pham. Heb unrhyw un dan amheuaeth, mae’r heddlu yn dechrau meddwl ei fod wedi cychwyn y tân ei hun.

Hakan Nesser - The Darkest Day
Mis Rhagfyr yn nhref dawel Kymlinge, ac mae’r teulu Hermansson yn ymgasglu i ddathlu pen-blwyddi pwysig y tad Karl-Erik a’r ferch hynaf Ebba. Ond islaw’r dathlu hapus, mae tyndra mawr ac ymhen dim mae’r noson yn troi’n dywyll gyda digwyddiadau annisgwyl.

Karolina Ramqvist – The White City
Nofel gyffro seicolegol, soffistigedig sy’n mudlosgi.

Anntti Tuomainen – The Man Who Died
Entrepreneur llwyddiannus yn y diwydiant madarch, mae Jaakko Kaunismaa yn ddyn ym mlodau ei ddyddiau. Yn 37 oed, mae’n cael ei ddychryn pan fo’i feddyg yn dweud wrtho ei fod yn marw. Yn fwy na hyn, yr achos yw tocsinau; mewn geiriau eraill mae rhywun wedi bod yn ei wenwyno yn araf ond yn sicr. Yn benderfynol o ddarganfod pwy sy’n awyddus i’w weld yn farw, mae Jaakko yn cychwyn ar daith afaelgar yn llawn cymeriadau eithriadol, sefyllfaoedd rhyfedd a throeon annisgwyl.
